1. What Data Deletion Means
Data deletion means asking Tasami to remove personal data that we hold about you from our active systems. Where we honour a deletion request, we remove the data from our day-to-day systems and, where appropriate, also from our routine backups in line with our normal backup-rotation schedule.
This page explains how to submit a deletion request and what to expect.
2. Who Can Request Deletion
You can request deletion if any of the following applies:
- You submitted information through the Tasami website (for example via the contact form or career inquiry).
- You corresponded with Tasami by email (for example to info@tasami.co).
- You are a current or former client of Tasami and we hold project-related data about you.
- Your data was processed through a Tasami digital product or platform that a business you interacted with uses — for example Smart Reply (customer messages, order details, support requests) or Modelix (uploaded product or model images and AI-generated visual outputs).
3. How to Submit a Deletion Request
Send an email to info@tasami.co with the subject line “Data Deletion Request”. You can also reach us through our contact page.
To help us identify your records, please include the following:
- Your full name.
- The email address (and phone number, if relevant) you used when interacting with Tasami.
- The approximate date of your interaction, if you remember it.
- If your request relates to a Tasami product used by a business (for example Smart Reply on a specific channel, or visual content generated through Modelix), include the name of that business and the channel or context, so we can route the request correctly.
- A short description of what you want deleted (for example: “all contact form data”, “my conversation records on channel X with business Y”, or “the images I uploaded for project Z”).
You may be asked to confirm your request from the same email address that originally submitted the data, so we can verify your identity before acting on the request.
4. What Data Can Be Deleted
Subject to the retention rules in Section 5, deletion can cover personal data we hold across:
- Tasami’s website data — contact form submissions, career inquiries, and related email correspondence.
- Client project records and engagement data, where you are an individual contact in a client relationship.
- Data processed through Tasami digital products, tools, and platforms on behalf of business clients — including business messages, order details, support requests, conversation history, uploaded images, AI-generated outputs, and related metadata.
- Authentication records associated with any Tasami account you may hold.
5. Data We May Need to Retain
Some information may need to be retained even after a valid deletion request, for legal, accounting, security, or legitimate-business reasons. Where this applies, we will only use the retained data for the purpose that requires it. Examples include:
- Records required to meet tax, accounting, or other legal obligations.
- Records needed to defend or pursue legal claims.
- Limited security and fraud-prevention logs needed to protect Tasami and other users.
- Aggregated or anonymised data that no longer identifies you as an individual.
When the retention reason no longer applies, that data is deleted in line with our retention schedule.
6. End-Customer Data Processed via Business Clients
When Tasami processes the personal data of a business client’s own customers through a Tasami product (for example, when a business uses Smart Reply to handle customer messages), Tasami is acting as a processor on behalf of that business. In that situation:
- The business client is the controller of the end-customer data and is responsible for the lawful basis of processing.
- End customers should first contact the business they interacted with for primary privacy and deletion information.
- Some deletion requests may need to be coordinated with the relevant business client; we will work with them as required by the underlying agreement.
- Tasami can also act on a deletion request received directly when we are able to identify and remove the relevant records.
7. Timing
We will acknowledge a valid deletion request within a reasonable period after receiving it, and we will complete the deletion within a reasonable period afterwards once we have verified your identity. Backup copies are removed in line with our normal backup-rotation schedule.
8. Confirmation
Once your request has been processed, we will reply to your email to confirm what was deleted. If we cannot complete the request (for example because we could not verify your identity, or because a legal retention requirement applies), we will explain why and what alternative options you have, including contacting the relevant business client where applicable.
